The method involves creating voluntary leak on an aspiration circuit (1 1) during depressurization of an enclosure (2). The leak is controlled for controlling rigidity of a flexible upper wall (2 1) of the enclosure. The leak is controlled to allow manual interventions on a surface of the enclosure to modify impression of footprint. The leak is stopped and a desired form of impression of the footprint is obtained. An independent claim is also included for a device for obtaining an impression of footprint.
