The device (20) has a housing (21) adapted to be attached and fixed around a pipe (12) of a stove (10). A free space is formed between the housing and the pipe. The free space is opened towards an outer side of the housing and vented by air through an opening during use. The free space is evacuated by a nozzle (24) during use. A deflector is arranged in the free space to force an air flow (E) to partially wrap around the pipe, where the air flow circulates from the opening to the nozzle in the free space. An independent claim is also included for a heating installation of a building.
