The box has a fluid receiving bag equipped with an obturator, and a package made of semi-rigid material arranged to receive the bag. The package including a passage wall (41) is connected to an end of the bag provided with the obturator. The package includes rectangular pavements (31, 32) for protecting the obturator of the bag and surrounding the passage wall of the obturator. The package has vertical walls (11, 14), bottom wall (12) and an upper wall (13) arranged according to a longitudinal direction. One of the walls of the package is integral with the wall and/or one of the pavements. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a blank made of semi-rigid material for forming a bag-in-box (2) a method for manufacturing a bag in box.
