Composition (A) comprises 20 wt.% of powder (preferably fine particles) of Indigoferaplant, and oil. Independent claims are included for: (1) an aqueous composition (B) obtained from a mixture of the composition (A) and an aqueous composition (C), preferably water, where the amount of the composition (A) is 1 pt. Wt., the amount of the composition (C) is 1 (preferably 3) pts.wt. and the composition (B) is present in the form of a cataplasm; and (2) coloring keratinous fibers, comprising preparing the composition (B), immediately applying the composition (B) on the keratinous fibers, maintaining the composition (B) on the fibers for minimum 30 minutes, preferably 1-12 hours, rinsing the fibers with water until the disappearance of cataplasm, and drying the fibers with a heat source or drier at an ambient temperature.
