The method involves activating a receiving terminal i.e. smartphone (7), and activating a sending terminal i.e. computer (5), where the computer defines an encryption key and codifies the encryption key in an optically readable quick response (QR) code (1). The code is optically read by the smartphone to retrieve the encryption key and open a secure communication channel (3) for exchange of data between the computer and the smartphone, where the computer codifies the code with location information of the computer, and the computer is identified and located by reading the code.
