The method involves calculating a current acceleration value by using current air speed of an aircraft. A speed trend symbol (11) representative of the value is displayed on a speed scale (9) on a display screen (7). Surveillance is performed to identify the aircraft, which is controlled to fly according to constant speed and constant Mach number. A corrected value is calculated from the acceleration value such that the symbol becomes zero when the number is not varied. The values are transmitted to the screen to display the values in the form of the symbol when aircraft is controlled to fly. An independent claim is also included for a device for displaying information of attitude on an aircraft.
