The support has a rear transverse bar (7) adapted to support a heel of a fishing rod (1). A front transverse bar (8) is adapted to support an intermediate part of the rod. Rear legs (5) are connected to a frame (2) by an intermediate rear body (3). The body is articulated on the frame around a transverse axis, and comprises, beyond the axis and opposite to a part receiving the legs, an adjusting arm (3b) provided with a manually releasing aligning bolt (15) co-operating with a circular arc teeth (10) centered on a front articulation (11) and interdependent of the frame.
