The assembly has a sealing and/or holding trim (1) comprising a protuberance (7) placed in notches (9) provided by a glazing (5) i.e. laminated glazing, on or at level of one of edges i.e. lower edge (3), of the glazing receiving the trim. The notches have length lower than length of the edges of the glazing. The notches are configured to form a locating pin by size and arrangement of the notches, and the locating pin cooperates with protuberances of the trim to impose an assembly direction of the trim on the glazing. The notches are in form of emerging indentation formed in the edge. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a holding and/or sealing trim on edges of glazing to form a holding and/or sealing trim assembly.
