The platform (1) has a load-bearing structure rotatably mounted relative to a support frame about a main rotation axis (A). A supported structure is rotatably mounted relative to the load-bearing structure about a secondary rotation axis (B), which is perpendicular to the main rotation axis. The supported structure comprises support parts (34, 36) for receiving a load e.g. infra-red camera. The support parts are rotatably guided by a central bearing (20) along the secondary rotation axis. The bearing is arranged on a side of the support parts.
