The vehicle (V) has rechargeable batteries (B1, B2, BN) for supplying power to an electrical equipment (EP). The batteries are connected in series through electric cables (CA) and electric connectors (CE). One of the batteries has a positive terminal connected to a positive terminal of the equipment through one of the cables and through one of the connectors. Another battery has a negative terminal connected to a negative terminal of the electrical equipment through another electric cable and another electric connector. The battery has energy storage cells mounted in series and/or parallel. The electrical equipment is a power equipment. The energy storage cells are selected from a group of lithium-ion, nickel-metal hydride, lithium-metal-polymer and lead.
