The clamp has an upper jaw (3) mounted to pivot toward a lower jaw (2) by a pneumatic or hydraulic control unit. The upper jaw has a cutting edge (4) perpendicular to a fulcrum pin (5) of the former jaw. The cutting edge cooperates with a cutting edge (6) formed on an edge of the lower jaw for cutting a sheet part (7) placed between the jaws. The cutting edges of the jaws are located in a vertical plane, where the upper jaw is located above the lower jaw. The lower jaw is fixed and comprises an upper surface to support the sheet part.
