Preparing compositions based on alkyl polyglucosides, comprises (a) contacting lignocellulosic plant materials consisting of annual and perennial plants and comprising at least one cellulose with at least an acid, at a temperature of 20-100[deg] C for at least 5 minutes to obtain pretreated plant materials, (b) contacting pretreated plant materials with at least one 1-22C-alcohol, at a temperature 20-200[deg] C for 1 minute to obtain the composition based on alkyl polyglucosides, and (c) optionally removing a composition of a solid pulp, then neutralizing the acid, and eliminating unreacted alcohol. Preparing compositions based on alkyl polyglucosides, comprises (a) contacting lignocellulosic plant materials, consisting of annual and perennial plants and comprising at least one cellulose, with at least an acid at a mass ratio of 0.8:10, at a temperature of 20-100[deg] C for at least 5 minutes to obtain pretreated plant materials, (b) contacting pretreated plant materials with at least one 1-22C-alcohol in a mass ratio of 1/200:1, at a temperature 20-200[deg] C for 1 minute to obtain the composition based on alkyl polyglucosides, and (c) optionally removing a composition of a solid pulp, then neutralizing the acid, and eliminating unreacted alcohol.
