Method for modeling of mechanical vibration system i.e. vehicle brake, involves performing reduction of decomposition of entities, connecting condensation nodes to grid, and simulating mechanical vibration system from super-elements
The method involves performing decomposition of a set of mechanical entities (100) e.g. disk brake pad, by finite elements resulting in a grid with a set of nodes. A reduction of decomposition of the mechanical entities is performed by creation of super-elements, where each super-element includes a set of condensation nodes with regard to an interface of the mechanical entities. The condensation nodes are connected to the grid. A mechanical vibration system is simulated starting from the super-elements. The mechanical entities are movable with regard to each other. The reduction of decomposition is performed using one of methods of Craig- Bampton, Craig, Craig-Chang and Craig Martinez.
