The drum has a cylindrical drum body (1) made by coil of paper or recycled paperboard kraft, and provided with two bordered side ends. An inner stiffener bead (1a) is provided in an inner face of the drum body to form a circular throat. A plastic closure device (2) e.g. lid or drum bottom, is integrated with movable articulated side sectors (2a) and folded back on the drum body such that projecting parts (2b) of the side sectors are placed in a hollow part of the circular throat. A tightening unit (3) maintains the side sectors resting against the drum body.
