The container has panels e.g. base panel (3), rear bottom panel (4) and side panel (6) made of rigid and thermally insulating material, and an assembly unit for assembling the panels with each other. The assembling unit includes sections (13, 15) comprising a U-shaped part, where each section is associated with one of the panels. The U-shaped part receives an edge (3A) of the base panel. The section comprises an L-shaped or corner part to engage with the former panel. The sections are designed such that the panels are orthogonal when the panels are assembled with each other.
