The system has an integrated digital keyboard (2) electrically connected to a microcontroller of a portable object, where the microcontroller is powered through a Universal serial bus (USB) connection unit i.e. contact pad (30) with a terminal connected to a wide area network to generate an authentication message that is sent to an authentication server connected to the wide area network, so as to allow the server to identify a system associated with a user and to authorize or non authorize a transaction. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for securing transactions (2) an authentication server of a transaction securing system.
