Managing events generated from business objects, e.g. purchase orders, work orders, job plans, or inventory reservations, in a business transactions environment comprising, detecting a first event being raised by a business object within a logical grouping of related business objects, i.e. within a â business entityâ , the business entity executing in the data processing system to provide a function for processing a request, determining whether a second event has occurred prior to the first event and during the processing of the request and if it has then combining data associated with the first event with data stored from the second event, then publishing the consolidated data.
