PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for increasing laccase productivity in the true basidiomycetes and to provide a strain of high laccase productivity.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for increasing laccase productivity in the true basidiomycetes comprising a step of destroying the GTP-hydrolyzing function of subunit of the trimeric G protein interactive with adenylate cyclase. Also prepared is a strain of high laccase productivity of which GTP-hydrolyzing function is destroyed.
