UNDERGROUND PENETRATION METHOD FOR STEEL MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground penetration method for a steel member in which the steel member can be made to easily penetrate into the ground through simple facilities.;SOLUTION: A steel member 11 has an axis in a vertical direction, and has a part in a closed shape in a horizontal cross section. Namely, a steel pipe 11b is joined to the steel plate member 11a in one body. While air bubbles formed by foaming a surface active agent are pressed in the steel pipe from above to be ejected into the soil nearby a lower end of the steel member, the steel member is made to penetrate into the ground. As the air bubbles are charged among soil particles, gap pressure rises and the surface active agent gets in among the soil particles, which become easy to slide on one another.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
