PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality control apparatus which can effectively treat water by using plasma, and to provide a water quality control method.;SOLUTION: The water quality control apparatus comprises: a channel 1; a pair of electrodes 3a and 3b; an electric power source 13 which applies a voltage between the pair of electrodes 3a and 3b to generate plasma discharge and makes the plasma continuously treat water 15 to be treated; a hydrogen peroxide concentration sensor 29 which is arranged at a downstream side than the pair of electrodes 3a and 3b of the channel 1, and measures a hydrogen peroxide concentration in the water 15 to be treated; and a control part 31 which detects a change in plasma treatment performance from a change in the hydrogen peroxide concentration in the water 15 to be treated, which is measured by the hydrogen peroxide concentration sensor 29, and also controls the output of the electric power source 13 in accordance with the hydrogen peroxide concentration in the water 15 to be treated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
