PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kneading and twisting machine in which rapid and efficient heat desiccation of a raw tea leaf can be performed, the whole apparatus is compact, further that can be used for respective treating of a batch type and a continuous type, and can be built in various tea manufacturing methods, and in which kneading and twisting treating can be performed corresponding to the tea manufacturing process.;SOLUTION: A tea leaf kneading and twisting machine includes a roller in which a surface is made a rugged shape and that is made horizontal; an arc shape kneading and twisting plate having approximately the same width with the roller, installed with a suitable space, and having a surface of a rugged shape; and a driving means that drives the roller, where kneading and twisting of the input tea leaves are performed between a rotating roller and a kneading and twisting plate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
