PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PC artificial ground which does not cause large damage to a building structure even when a dip-slip fault and a lateral fault due to earthquake and prevents damage caused by liquefaction of a ground.;SOLUTION: A PC artificial ground 1 is formed of four PC mat foundation blocks 10, each of which is obtained by dividing a mat, 100 m on a side, having an area of 1 ha supported by foundation piles into four, crimped and joined to each other by tendons 20 and mutually rotatable, and pre-stress is introduced in horizontal longitudinal ad lateral directions. A junction 2 has an uneven shape, and the junctions are joined to each other in an engaged state and resist integrally in th horizontal direction. THe tendons 20 of whole wire coating type PC steel strands are disposed astride the junction 2 in a curved shape, and are positioned at a cross-section neutral axis in the junction 2. The tendons 20 are tensioned so that the PC mat foundation blocks are crimped and joined to each other in a mutually rotatable manner, thus absorbing movement of the ground caused by generation of a fault to prevent internal stress of the PC mat foundation blocks 10 from being excessively increased.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
