PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that can fix a sugar chain to a sensor chip in a short time and can manufacture a sugar chain chip for detecting toxin or the like to be a detected object with high sensitivity.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a sensor chip for detection of protein derived from bacteria or viruses, or organism toxin, a sugar chain-containing compound having a sugar chain specifically connected to the protein derived from bacteria or viruses, or the organism toxin is fixed on a substrate surface. In the method, a substrate is immersed in the solution of the sugar chain-containing compound and microwaves are radiated in a state of keeping constant temperature of 30°C to 45°C, and thereby the sugar chain-containing compound is fixed to the substrate surface.
