PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hopper-type medal letting-out apparatus that can be used all the time without adjustment even if the medal size (diameter) varies.SOLUTION: In a hopper-type medal letting-out apparatus that successively lets out medals (C) in a hopper tank (3) one by one by the drive of its medal letting-out rotational disk (D) from a medal outlet (O) positioned farther outside than the circumferential face of the rotational disk, an opening width (Z) of the medal outlet or a medal letting-out path (P1), whose inlet is the medal outlet, is defined by a medal letting-out bladed wheel (R), which is subject to elastic pressure in the direction of approaching the medals, to be narrower than the minimum size of the medals used, and actions to let out the medals one by one and to count the medals are accomplished by causing medals to expand the narrower opening width against the elastic pressure and thereby to turn the medal letting-out bladed wheel in the forward direction.
