PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image segmentation apparatus which allows a user to more quickly obtain a segmentation result, a medical image diagnostic apparatus and an image segmentation method.;SOLUTION: The image segmentation apparatus for segmenting an object having a tree form tubular structure from a volume image generated on the basis of image series acquired by tomography has a first region expansion part for performing a region expansion by using a seed point and a first threshold on the basis of the volume image to acquire a first part of the tree form tubular structure and a control part for newly performing a region expansion by changing the first threshold until prescribed conditions are satisfied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
