PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cholesteric liquid crystal laminate which comprises cholesteric liquid crystal layers with right-hand and left-hand twist directions opposite to each other, laminated in contact with each other without using an adhesive material, and which has a good surface state, high transparency, selective reflection characteristics in a visible light region, and high reflection performance.SOLUTION: The cholesteric liquid crystal laminate includes: at least one light-reflection layer Xa prepared by immobilizing a cholesteric liquid crystal phase and containing a right-hand rotatory chiral agent having an HTP (helical twisting power) of 30 mor more; and at least one light-reflection layer Xb prepared by immobilizing a cholesteric liquid crystal phase and contains a left-hand rotatory chiral agent having an HTP of 30 mor more. Selective reflection wavelengths of the all light-reflection layers Xa and of the all light-reflection layers Xb are within a range from 400 nm to 750 nm; and a selective reflection wavelength of at least one light-reflection layer Xa is equal to a selective reflection wavelength of at least one light-reflection layer Xb. The light-reflection layers are laminated in contact with one another, in which all of the cholesteric liquid crystal phases adjoining to each other are immobilized.
