PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispose a human body detection apparatus in lightweight, flexible bedding and make it possible to detect the positions of a human body in both width and length directions of the bedding.;SOLUTION: If a capacitance C_ny between the power source side wire H_nya and the ground side wire composing a parallel two-wire line of laterally extending three parallel two-wire lines H_ny (n=1 to 3) exhibits a variation ΔC_ny of a larger value compared with the basic capacitance C_nyo which is a capacitance with no human body resting, it is understood that a human body 101 is resting on the power source side wire H_nya. Also, if a capacitance C_mx between the power source side wire H_mxa and the ground side wire composing a parallel two-wire line of longitudinally extending three parallel two-wire lines H_mx (m=1 to 3) exhibits a variation ΔC_mx of a larger value compared with the basic capacitance C_mx0 which is a capacitance with no human body resting, it is understood that a human body 101 is resting on the power source side wire H_mxa.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
