PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a radioactive resin-based waste capable of reducing more the amount of the high-dose radioactive resin-based waste.;SOLUTION: A radioactive resin-based waste (used ion exchange resin or the like) 3 in a high-dose storage tank 2 is mixed with transfer water from a hose 18 to form a slurry. The radioactive resin-based waste slurry is sucked into a transfer hose 5. A radiation detector 13 detects radiation included in the slurry flowing in the transfer hose 5 and a resin-based waste content measuring device 14 measures the percentage of the radioactive resin-based waste 3 in the slurry. A waste radioactivity calculation device 12 calculates the amount of the radiation in the radioactive resin-based wastes 3 in the slurry flowing in the transfer hose 5 from the amount of the radiation in the slurry and the percentage of the radioactive resin-based wastes 3. A control device 17 switches a switching valve 11 in accordance with the amount of the radiation in the radioactive resin-based waste 3 to transfer the slurry to a high-dose waste reception tank 7 or a low-dose waste reception tank 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
