PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable knitted fabric for garments, which is formed so as to exert relatively moderate power at the beginning of the stretching of the knitted fabric and exert increased power in the process of the stretching, and which is thereby improved in stretchability in a weft direction.;SOLUTION: In order that, by restoring force generated by an elastic yarn 70B in one course (X-3) of adjacent courses (X-2 and X-3) which behaves to shrink from the state of being stretched when knitted, an elastic yarn 70B knitted in the other course (X-2) can be stretched, an elastic yarn amount in the other course is set to be less than an elastic yarn amount in the one course. When a power-enhanced knitted fabric 10 is manufactured, the elastic yarn is knitted while tension is applied to the elastic yarn, so that the stretch amounts of the elastic yarns are made different upon knitting, thereby providing a difference in the repulsive force of the elastic yarn between the adjacent courses.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
