摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane module which can suppress breaking of the membrane on an interface with an adhered portion during air washing and back-pressure washing.SOLUTION: Provided is a selection method of an adhesive of the potting resin layer 6 in a hollow fiber membrane module 20 including: a hollow fiber membrane bundle 22 formed of a plurality of hollow fiber membranes 1; a case 2 for storing a whole including an end part of the hollow fiber membrane bundle 22; and a potting resin layer 6 for adhering and fixing the hollow fiber membranes 1 together in the end part of the hollow fiber membrane bundle 22, and the hollow fiber membranes 1 and an inner surface of the case 2. The potting resin layer 6 having the most suitable hardness is selected by selecting hardness of the adhesive of the potting resin layer 6 depending on fracture toughness A of the hollow fiber membranes 1.
