PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a portable terminal or the like capable of assisting a tour conductor, and supporting each tourist in a group tour.;SOLUTION: The tour assist method using a private network by ad hoc communication established between a plurality of portable terminals respectively owned by a group tourist and a tour conductor includes: a process of displaying a voice translating function, a gathering situation confirming function, an earphone guide function, an emergency notifying function, and a real time action confirming function which operate stand-alone on the screen of each portable terminal in a selectively executable manner; and a process of executing at least one of the voice translating function, the gathering situation confirming function, the earphone guide function, the emergency notifying function and the real time action confirming function which operate stand-alone on the basis of an input from the group tourist or the tour conductor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
