PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary feeder useful for transporting a granular body in a slurry state.;SOLUTION: The rotary feeder comprises: a casing in which a granular body is introduced through a receiving port from a settling tank; a water feed port provided in the casing; a slurry discharge port provided at a position separated from the water feed port in the casing; and rotor that is stored in the casing and transports the granular body from the settling tank to a transportation pipe line. The rotor has: a shaft; first and second discs fixed to both sides of the shaft; and a plurality of impeller blades composing a pocket portion rotating with the granular body stored. The casing has on the inner surface a groove extending from the position of the water feed port to a position of the slurry discharge port, and the groove composes a portion where the granular body is mixed with water together with the pocket portion having stored the granular body and rotated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
