PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time for assembling work.;SOLUTION: A method for assembling a large steel plate cell includes the successive steps of: forming a block plate 21 having a length corresponding to an approximate height of a steel plate; forming a joint part block plate 21A by joining an arc joint 13 on the outer surface of a prescribed block plate 21; forming a cell block 22 by joining the joint part block plate 21A and the block plates 21; bending the cell block 22 on a curve base AB; and successively standing the plurality of curved cell blocks 22 and forming a steel plate cell 11 having a cylindrical shape. In the step of forming the cell block 22, a single-reversing method is used in which welding Wvo for the outer surface is performed on edge parts of the cell block 22 in the cell axis direction, before reversing the same and performing welding Wvi for the inner surface on the edge parts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
