PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic operation type clutch of an automated transmission of an automobile, and a method for the hydraulic operation type clutch of the automated transmission of the automobile.;SOLUTION: A clutch of an automatic transmission of an automobile includes a transmission oil pump 31 driven by an internal combustion engine of the automobile and for generating a line pressure, a piston chamber 13 for operating a clutch piston 15, a clutch valve 36 disposed between the transmission oil pump and the piston chamber, and controlling a clutch 1, a control pressure pipe conduit 26 for connecting the transmission oil pump to the piston chamber, and hydraulically operable cutoff valves 25, 125, 225 disposed between the clutch valve and the piston chamber. The cutoff valves can apply hydraulic pressure through the control pressure pipe conduit, and are suitable for closing the piston chamber to the clutch valve when the internal combustion engine becomes lower than a threshold value of an engine rotating speed.
