PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terahertz wave connector capable of reducing connection loss of a two-dimensional photonic crystal slab and a waveguide connection part, and to provide a terahertz wave integrated circuit.;SOLUTION: A terahertz wave connector 1 includes: a two-dimensional photonic crystal slab 12; lattice points 12A that are periodically disposed in the two-dimensional photonic crystal slab and diffract a terahertz wave in a photonic band gap band of a photonic band structure of the two-dimensional photonic crystal slab for prohibiting an existence of the two-dimensional photonic crystal slab in-plane; a two-dimensional photonic crystal waveguide 14 that is disposed in the two-dimensional photonic crystal slab and is formed with a line defect of the lattice points; an adiabatic mode conversion mechanism part 10 that is disposed at an end face of the two-dimensional photonic crystal slab formed by drawing the two-dimensional photonic crystal waveguide and is formed by drawing the two-dimensional photonic crystal waveguide 14.
