VIA-SATELLITE MOBILE PHONE SYSTEM IN EMERGENCY DISASTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a via-satellite mobile phone system in an emergency disaster via a satellite in which, when a mobile phone is brought into line disconnection, a line-disconnected call is relieved by switching to a stationary satellite communication system or a mobile satellite communication system.SOLUTION: In a Sat/Mob system for a disaster, when it is detected that a terrestrial mobile phone line 47 is disconnected by a natural disaster or the like, the disconnection of the terrestrial mobile phone line is relieved by performing line setting between a mobile phone call and a mobile phone system control station 48 or a switching center 49 by switching to a satellite transmitting/receiving device, within a simplified VSAT earth station using a micro earth station antenna 52 and a small-output transmitter, installed in an uppermost part of a base station 41 and designed on the assumption that a probability of simultaneous occurrence of great rainfall attenuation just after the disaster is small. In such a case, a standby control circuit 56 performs control to supply a power source while using a photovoltaic power generation device 55 provided in the base station by also estimating cut-off of a commercial power source, and power is supplied to a mobile phone/satellite line device, thereby continuing communication.
