PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for recovering phosphorus from urinal effluent, in each of which phosphorus is recovered efficiently from the urinal effluent containing phosphorus of high concentration.;SOLUTION: The system for recovering phosphorus, of one embodiment, has a cleaning unit and a phosphorus recovery unit. The cleaning unit is connected to a urine inflow port of a toilet bowl, which has the urine inflow port through which urinal effluent is made to flow and an excrement inflow port through which excrement is made to flow, by using a urinal pipe and is used for cleaning the urinal effluent made to flow from the urine inflow port of the toilet bowl through the urinal pipe. The phosphorus recovery unit includes a phosphorus adsorbent-packed column capable of being attached/detached and is arranged on the downstream side of the cleaning unit and on the upstream side of a sewage pipe so that a phosphorus component in the cleaned urinal effluent is adsorbed/recovered in the phosphorus adsorbent-packed column.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
