PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage water heater and an expanded water recycling device capable of supplying expanded water into a hot water storage tank for recycling.SOLUTION: A hot water storage water heater comprises: a hot water tube 2b supplying hot water from a hot water storage tank 2 to an outside; a water supply tube 2a supplying water to the hot water storage tank 2; and collection means 20 for discharging the water from the hot water storage tank 2 when an internal pressure of the hot water storage tank 2 is equal to or higher than a predetermined pressure. The collection means 20 includes: a water storage tank 21 storing the water discharged from the hot water storage tank 2; a communication pipe 25 communicating the water storage tank 21 with the hot water storage tank 2; and a water supply portion 30 supplying the water in the water storage tank 21 to the hot water storage tank 2. The water supply portion 30 includes a pressurization mechanism pressurizing the water in the water storage tank 21. If the internal pressure of the hot water storage tank 2 is lower than that of the water pressurized by the pressurization mechanism, the water can return from the water storage tank 21 to the hot water storage tank 2 via the communication pipe 25. Therefore, it is possible to recycle the water discharged from the hot water storage tank 2 in the hot water storage tank 2.
