PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base board management controller updating system and an updating method capable of easily updating firmware in an electronic device.;SOLUTION: A base board management controller updating system acquires a sensor data recording table from a memory unit in an electronic device by a user's updating request, scans a member of a non-main board in the electronic device, and when scanning a member of the non-main board corresponding to sensor data including switch variation in the table, sets the switch variation of the sensor data to a predetermined value, confirms first sort sensor data by sensor data not including the switch variation in the table, confirms that the first sort sensor data and second sort sensor data in which the switch variation is set to the predetermined value are sensor data to be updated, and updates sensor data in the firmware of the base board management controller in the electronic device are updated by the confirmed sensor data to be updated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
