PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hydrogel material of which fluorescence behavior by transfer of dispersion of molecule (sol)/molecular aggregate formation (gel) in an aqueous solution system and its controlling method.;SOLUTION: There is provided a gel formation compound obtained by chemically binding an organizing unit containing a cyanobiphenyl group and a peptide group, represented by the general formula, and a salt thereof. In the general formula, R¹ represents an alkyl group having 4 or less carbon atoms, R² represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 4 or less carbon atoms, m represents 0 or a natural number of 1 to 10, n represents a natural number of 2 to 10, * represents an optical active enantiomer of which the carbon corresponds to an R or S body (an L or D body if the carbon belongs to an amino acid residual group).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
