PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that an optimal position adjustment based on a height of a subject cannot be automatically performed conventionally, and it takes time and labor for an operator to preform adjustment, and also the adjustment may fall in a state of an improper position, and further the practitioner has to adjust again after automatic adjustment, for example, in the case of a hunched subject, while bringing a chair into a fixed height to the height of a hair washing ball.;SOLUTION: A backrest telescopic control apparatus of a hairdressing chair and a medical chair is characterized by: telescopically mounting a backrest 14 raisably mounted at the rear of a seat 11 of a chair 1; mounting a sensor 23c for detecting the position of a shoulder's position and the hunched curvature of the back of the subject at the backrest; and adjusting a telescopic amount of the backrest according to the shoulder's position and the hunched curvature of the back detected by the sensor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
