PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving selection accuracy in a document-like cargo processible by a large-sized thin material divider by automatically determining its selection by a machine in preselection work of the document-like cargo processed by the large-sized thin material divider, and improving efficiency in dividing work by maximizing a document-like cargo amount processed by the large-sized thin material divider, and realizing stable operation by the large-sized thin material divider by preventing supply of a document-like cargo not subject to processing.;SOLUTION: Means of on and after dividing work is automatically selected, by determining the presence of a waist of the document-like cargo 911 by a photoelectric sensor 330 disposed on the upper end side of the carried document-like cargo 911 and detecting the presence of the document-like cargo of a position fallen down further from a carrying plate 311, and determining a thickness and a deviation by two pairs of displacement sensors 341 and 342 provided in vertical positions of the carried document-like cargo.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
