PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell fault diagnostic device that can promptly detect abnormality in a solar cell module without requiring information on an installation site and installation conditions of the solar cell module even in an environment where plural types of solar cell modules are connected.;SOLUTION: A solar cell fault diagnostic device 1 comprises: an installation condition classification unit 3 that refers to power generation amount information 7 to configure two arbitrary solar cells having the same area ID as a group through predetermined processing on the basis of daily power generation amounts and hourly power generation amounts of the two solar cells; a correlation progression calculation unit 4 that configures the two solar cells included in the group and having high similarity in installation conditions as a pair; and a first abnormality detection unit 5 that, when the correlation between the daily power generation amounts of the pair decreases, compares accumulated power generation amounts of the two solar cells to each other and determines that a solar cell having a smaller accumulated power generation amount is faulty.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
