PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bypass connection assist system and a bypass connection method for safely removing a measurement instrument cable from an electric power measurement device with reduction in a work burden, and without causing a short circuit, a blackout and an abnormal voltage inflow upon a bypass connection.;SOLUTION: An uninterruptible bypass connection assist system 1 comprises: power source side sensors 21 to 23 that are arranged at power source side measurement instrument cables 11 to 13 of an electric power meter 10, and measure electric current and voltage values; and burden side sensors 24 to 26 that are arranged at burden side measurement instrument cables 14 to 16, and measure electric current and voltage values, in which the power source side sensors 21 to 23, and the burden side sensors 24 to 26 include a transmission section that transmits the measured electric current and voltage values wirelessly. The system 1 further comprises: a reception section 41 that receives the electric current and voltage values wirelessly; a determination section 43 that determines a distribution current after subjected to the bypass connection to see if any of the power source side measurement instrument cable and the burden side measurement instrument cable are in phase on the basis of the received values; a display section 44 that displays a determination resu and a warning notification section 45 that gives a warning sound when there is abnormality in the distribution current.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
