FURNACE TOP BUNKER OF BELL-LESS TYPE BLAST FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furnace top bunker, which allows a liner to have a prolonged life and to be rapidly and easily replaced when severely damaged.;SOLUTION: A bell-less type blast furnace has a furnace top bunker having a segregation control plate 4 capable of tilting in forward and reverse directions. Raw material fed from a conveyor 5 is fallen through the segregation control plate 4 and input into a reservation space M. The raw material reserved in the reservation space M is cut out and fed into a blast furnace. The furnace top bunker includes an iron shell 2a which partitions the inner reservation space M, and a liner 2b for protection of the inner wall, being fixed to the iron shell 2a through fastening means 3 so as to cover the whole surface of the inner wall of the iron shell 2a. Among the liners 2b, a liner 2b₁ in an area subject to direct hit from raw material falling from the segregation control plate 4 has a shortened dimension W along the periphery of the iron shell 2a and a shortened dimension H along the height direction, for partitioning into small segments which are clustered.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
