PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a rotor of an induction machine which includes a rotor core and a secondary conductor having a conductor bar and an end ring, can solve casting defect generated when die-cast molding the end ring and can deal with high revolution.;SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a rotor 1, conductor bars 31 are formed by die-casting conductive material in each slot 25 of a rotor core 20 and end rings 35 are formed on both end faces in an axial direction of the rotor core 20 by die-casting the conductive material in a secondary conductor arrangement step, and then friction heat is applied to the end face in the axial direction of the end ring 35 by making a friction and agitation tool 50 which rotates at high speed contact the end dace, and the conductive material constituting the end ring 35 is softened, agitated and made to plastically flow in a friction and agitation processing step.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
