PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a holding piece by using the same tool as a knuckle bracket provided with an erroneous assembly detection pin insertion cutout, in improvement in the knuckle bracket capable of mechanically discriminating a kind by using an erroneous assembly detection pin.SOLUTION: The knuckle bracket comprises a cylindrical bracket body 20 weld-fixed to the outer periphery of an outer cylinder D of a shock absorber and a pair of holding pieces 21 and 22 extending in the axial direction of the bracket body 20 and oppositely rising in the outside from the bracket body 20. The bracket body 20 comprises a cutout A1 formed in one side end part 20a of the bracket body 20 and a pressing part B1 capable of abutting on an erroneous assembly detection pin P of an erroneous assembly prevention device for discriminating the kind of a knuckle bracket.
