RIVER AND SAND EROSION CONTROL INFORMATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently utilize a portable terminal used on a river and sand erosion control information system.SOLUTION: The river and sand erosion control information system comprises: the portable terminal with a GPS function; a water gauge for measuring a water level of a river; a rain gauge for measuring rainfall on land; a server for collecting measurement results, storing the collected measurement results and map information on an observed area, and providing the portable terminal with any of information on the water level or the rainfall which is the collected measurement results or the map information in response to a request from the portable terminal; and a network for connecting the portable terminal and the server. To display information corresponding to a user designation, the portable terminal transmits current position information acquired by means of the GPS function and a command to request the information corresponding to the user designation to the server, and in response to the command, the server transmits, to the portable terminal, any of the information on the water level or the rainfall or the map information corresponding to the current position information and the command received from the portable terminal.
