PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of producing a single-direction-bent glass which reduces the difference between the curvature radius of the glass front end and the curvature radium of the glass rear end.;SOLUTION: A production apparatus 10 for a single-direction-bent glass includes a heating furnace 13 and a cooling mechanism 14, and the cooling mechanism 14 has moving means 29 which is connected to an upper window box 25 and moves the upper window box 25 in parallel with the moving direction of glass 12. While the rear end lower surface T8 is cooled rapidly, the rear end upper surface T7 is also blown directly with cooling wind, at the timing when the temperature of the rear end lower surface T8 becomes equal to the temperature of the rear end upper surface T7, so that both the rear end upper surface T7 and the rear end lower surface T8 reach the strain point at the same time, resulting in reduction of the difference between the curvature radius of the glass front end and the curvature radius of the glass rear end.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
