PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring a trace amount of zinc in high concentration metallic solution, which can accurately measure a trace amount of zinc present in high concentration matrix solution even under an on-site level working environment.;SOLUTION: A method for measuring zinc contained in a target solution performs sequentially: a sample preparation step S1 of performing preparation so that hydrochloric acid concentration is 1.0 to 3.0 mol/l, while housing the target solution and hydrochloric acid in a container with both solutions being housed; a resin contact step S2 of bringing a prepared sample solution into contact with anion exchange resin; a solution removal step S3 of removing the solution in the sample solution after the resin contact step S2; a removal solution mixing step S4 of mixing the anion exchange resin after the solution removal step S3 and a zinc removal solution; and an analysis step S5 of analysing an analytical sample prepared after the removal solution mixing step S4. This allows quantitative assay difficult to be achieved by typical measurement methods, of zinc present in the target solution at a concentration lower than or equal to the zinc concentration based on contamination.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
